Hyaluronic acid is the key ingredient that is naturally present in your skin. The new molecule thus retains the properties of both the low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. attracting water and thus causing intense hydration of the skin, as well as stimulating fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin and stimulating the adipocytes. Another unique difference between Profhilo and standard dermal fillers is the flow ability. Most dermal fillers come out of the syringe as a 'blob' under the skin causing localised changes to the contour of the skin. Profhilo, on the other hand, is much more 'flowy' and it flows steadily and uniformly in all directions from the central injection site, leading to homogeneous spreading of the hyaluronic acid.
